Mari Masouridou

Mari Masouridou

Mari Masouridou is a visual artist and photographer living in Athens, Greece. Her practice deals with the human condition and the symbolic relationship of objects and people, focusing on notions of belonging, vulnerability, the forgotten and the repressed. Inspired by science fiction and psychoanalysis, she creates allegorical works that reveal an alienated image of the world and question the notion of existence.

She studied at Focus School of Art and Photography in Athens, graduating in 2015 and has taken photography courses at The International Center of Photography in New York. She also holds a BA and MA in Law.

Her work has been presented in several publications and venues both nationally and internationally.
